Welcome! – and thank you for joining the Henderson Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce. We offer two types of membership providing equal voting rights for all members.
Business members receive the full support of the Chamber through aggressive marketing and advertising promotions in the marketplace. We advocate on behalf of our business community to Local, State and Federal governments. Business membership also provides many opportunities to extend your reach to customers. For the basic membership fee, your business receives free advertising on our website. Throughout the year, businesses are offered television, internet, print, radio, billboard, and other advertising opportunities below general market rates. Upon joining, your business will be promoted at no cost in our newsletter, “The Golden Crescent.”
We also offer Associate memberships for those who may not own or work for a local business but are interested in the business community.
The Chamber’s 9-member Board of Directors meets on the last Wednesday of each month at the Community Center in Henderson at 7 pm and all members are welcome to attend. At least one general meeting is held each year, usually in November, to elect three directors. We urge you to become involved in your Chamber so that you will derive even greater benefits for your business. Fresh, new ideas are welcome. The organization thrives on the synergy that occurs when more members work together.
We also encourage your participation in the social and networking aspects of Chamber membership. “Business After Hours” social gatherings are held frequently – The Greater Watertown North Country Chamber holds one per month – each one at a different business in the area.
As you will see, more and more of our communication is taking place via the internet. We communicate often with members using e-mail so please be sure to include your email address if you have one. Please fill out the application completely. If you have questions or need assistance with the form, please contact the Chamber President, Karl Williams at 315-408-6043 or the Treasurer, Bob Ashodian at 315-938-7024. |
